{February 3, 2014}   Happy Monday!

Yes, it truly is a happy Monday. The Seahawks won the Super Bowl for the first time!

Yesterday we went to our friends’ house in West Seattle to partake in the football festivities. I drank way more than usual but it was totally worth it. The commercials were kind of lame this year. Confusing, you might even say. The game was fun to watch and the Seahawks played well. Poor Peyton. This game went far better for us than in 2005, that’s for sure.

Intuitive eating was also a success. I ate like normal before the party and wasn’t hungry for pretty much the entire night because of how much alcohol I consumed. Well ok, let’s be realistic, I drank a total of 4 shots from 3-7:30pm. Since I’m not very big that stuff has a strong effect on me. At one point I ate a little bit of meat/cheese just to put something in my stomach. I also had half of one of these GINORMOUS Costco cupcakes:

In other exciting news my best friend recently got a job with a normal weekday schedule! It’s amazing. It’s probably been almost 10 years that she has been working nights and also on weekends, so we rarely ever can hang out. As soon as her new schedule started we decided to do something crafty and fun on Saturday. We didn’t know what to do so of course Pinterest was a big help. The project of the day? Pony bead art!

At some point we watched Jurassic Park: The Musical on YouTube. No, there was no alcohol involved that day! Watch at your own risk…

*What did you do this weekend?

those beads are cool. my niece and my kids would love that! might have to venture to the craft store!

It was fun and easy but a little bit tedious. For kids it might be easier to use smaller pans like the giant cupcake pans.

What a neat craft idea! I may have to pick some of those up for our next snow day!

I am looking forward to the next time we get together because we have so many leftover beads! The cake pans were really large so it took forever to put together the bead designs, but next time the coasters will be a lot easier because they’re smaller.
